If you plan a visit during the first 2 weekends in October, then you are in for a special treat. During that time the community of Cherry Log celebrates their yearly harvest with the Cherry Log Festival. They serve delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, offer arts and crafts, homemade cakes, pies and canned goods, bluegrass, gospel, and country music. This all takes place at the Cherry Log Community Clubhouse. 

Last but certainly not least, if you choose to stay in Cherry Log, you most certainly should check out the Pink Pig. This Cherry Log favorite is noted by visitors AND locals as some of the best Georgia BBQ around, serving delicious Southern BBQ in its casual rural setting since 1950!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
